 I will be able to explain the basic concepts of the Reformation, and identify the major ideas and people involved.
I need to review why people challenged the Christian Church in the years following the Renaissance, and how the new ideas threatened the old established powers.
I will review terms from this section of the class while creating a "fill-in-the-blank" review activity with one or two other students.This is a formative assessment. The summary I come up with will help me understand the material I need in my next summative assessment. 

Today we'll continue the work we started yesterday. Open your last 2 homework assignments (Reformation Begins and Spread of Protestantism) so you can use your definitions and share them with your teammates. 

Reformation Scramble- Instructions

 When finished, make sure that you have a 

  • NARRATIVE  of the Protestant Reformation that uses at least 20 of the 30 terms you were given
If you've created a group Google Doc, turn it in to the Daily Work DropBox and include the names of all group members in the comments box.
If you've created a paper version of the assignment, turn that in with an envelope with the terms you actually used. (Paperclip the ones you didn't use and turn those in, too).

Once you've completed this review assignment, you may want to get started on the next review assignment, based on the same sections of the textbook. You may work with a partner, or your whole group, or alone if you wish, as you fill in the blanks in the handout. 

Homework: Complete Guided Reading Activity 5-3 and 5-4 (pages 176-187)
