Opening Activities:
BEFORE YOU BEGIN today's activities, please fill out this very brief survey (again) about your Chromebook.

Yesterday, you started looking at and playing around with these three links.
  1. How to show text with a scrollbar when needed.
  2. How to make something stationary on your page (no matter what the rest of the page is doing)
  3. How to create a no-table layout using CSS and div tags
These three skills will come in handy next week as you create your next graded assignment. So will these:
  1. Create an image gallery using CSS
  2. Create a hover transparency for an image using CSS
Take some time to play around with the codes involved with these two new skills, then complete today's in-class assignment (below)

Create a web page with a horizontal five picture image gallery, where images have an opacity between 30% and 70% until the mouse hovers on them. Make sure all pictures have the same dimensions, and make sure they are all available for you to use legally (try creativecommons.org for your search.) Add a heading or two before your image gallery, and include an appropriate caption for each image.

If you want to include a stationary element (background-image, box, etc.) on your page as an extra, that would be great.

Ask for help if you need it. Share it with Mr. Knowles when  you're done.
