Now that you've had a few days to think about your end-of-semester project, it's time to start thinking about some design decisions and do a little planning.

Use the handout provided to begin designing your site.

Hand in your design plan before getting to work on the actual pages.

Once you've made your basic design decisions you should start creating your site.

To do so, begin making your main page, using an internal CSS style sheet to create the basic design*.
Try our design decisions as you work on the page; see what happens with different choices. Try to make your home page perfect using internal CSS styles before worrying too much about the sub pages.

*Because your sub pages won't have MORE elements than your home page -- and may even have less -- it makes sense to build the home page first, and to do it with internal CSS code so you can see how it looks as you work. Later, when your home page design is all done, and all your CSS code is the way you want it, you can copy/paste the INTERNAL code into a separate CSS page to create your EXTERNAL code that shapes all the other pages on your site.
