Assignment2

Due Tuesday, September 20
Your first assignment was a brief biographical page about yourself; now you get to explore more of your interests while you build lists and link them to other locations. Here's what you need to do:

Use ShiftEdit to create a single web page from scratch, presenting lists about what you like and don't like. Include only information that you feel comfortable sharing with the class and, potentially, the world. Make sure you do not include any person in your lists of likes and dislikes unless they are a public figure (no students, teachers, parents, neighbors, etc. who others might know. Politicians, actors, recording artists, people often in the news are okay.
Be sure to include ALL the required elements without coding errors. To score beyond a 3.0 you'll need to show more than the MINIMUM shown below.
NOTE: Until we get all the kinks worked out for logging in, make sure you copy/paste your daily work into a Google Doc that you can build on the next day.

 Instructions:

  1. Start with a blank template for any web page
  2. Add the following content:
  • Title (use both <title> tag in the head, and  <h1> tags in the body)
  • Table of Contents for the page at the top that contains the names of your lists of links that follow.
  • Anchors to link the name in the table of contents at the top of the page to the proper location further down the page
  • Include a Minimum of 4 lists (at least 2 ordered and 2 unordered)
  • Each list should include a minimum of 4 links to different outside pages on the web
    • Use the <target> tag to make sure links open in new windows
  • Include an email link to yourself at the bottom of the page using the mailto: attribute

Make sure there are no coding errors before turning in a copy of your code in a Google Doc.
Grading/Scoring
4.0 –No errors & Above & Beyond Requirements
3.0 –No errors & meets MINIMUM requirements
2.0 –No errors but with 1 missing element
1.0Any errors in your code, no matter what the page looks like, or Incomplete (more than 1 item missing) but with no errors
