Our next assessment: Due May 24

Standard-- Civics 1.3: Understand the purposes and organization of international relationships and U.S. foreign policy.

Big Question -- How do independent nations rely on each other to meet their current and future needs?

Content Focus-- World War I -- Chapter 16 (522-547)

HOMEWORK: The last assignment for this assessment cycle --Chapter 16.4 (542-547)-- dealt with the end of the war and plans for the peace that would follow. To help review this, we'll watch a video about America and World War I. As you watch the video, add your own notes to the document where all your assignments should be (called, probably, World War I Notes)

After watching the video, take some time to learn more about the League of Nations, an attempt by the European nations to create an organization to meet their current and future needs.
Tonight's homework is to catch up on any missing assignments from this assessment cycle. Tomorrow we'll start organizing how you might answer this assessment's question, so having all your information available is key to being prepared.
