Today we'll continue with the chart you created on Friday collecting and comparing events during the First and Second Industrial Revolutions. As you work on this chart, think about how the information you gather can help you begin answering our upcoming assessment.

Due April 19, 2012

Standard-- Economics 2.2: Understand how economic systems function.

Big Question --How do new economic realities impact the way people live their daily lives?

Content Focus--Industrial Revolution: Chapter 12, Section 1 (378-387) and Chapter 13, Sections 1 & 2 (416-431)

Using the information you've gathered and read about, compose a paragraph, complete with citations, that explains the new economic world created by the Industrial Revolution. What had changed? Why had the changes occurred? How did the new economic system work?

This paragraph may become the first paragraph (after your introduction) of your next assessment. Use today's class period to try out what you've got so far, and decide whether you're ready to move on.

Tonight's HOMEWORK  can be found in a Google Doc template called Chapter 13.2 Assignment
