November 6

Today you'll have lots of time to work on your upcoming ASSESSMENT 4, DUE THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 8

But before you do, take this ONLINE REVIEW of how to build and organize a paragraph of research.
Though you'll get an email with your results, they'll be a little confusing. Check them now, if you like, but we'll spend some class time to go over the results together as a way to review some of the things you need to keep in mind as you work on your next assessment.

Once you're finished with the online review, get to work on your assessment.
You should be finishing up your first turning point today and starting in on your second. Remember, the first turning point should be one of the 6 we've been working with in class. The second could be anything that YOU think is a turning point in history. It can be one of the 6, but it doesn't have to be.

Make a decision, then stick with it. You'll want to be done with your two turning point paragraphs at the start of class tomorrow.

REMEMBER: You need to include a quotation from a primary source and an explanation of it somewhere in your assessment to earn full credit. Look for a place where you can fit it in as you write these two paragraphs. (And yes, you can certainly include MORE than one if you like!)

HOMEWORK: 20 minutes minimum working on your assessment (collecting research, writing your paragraph, creating references, etc.)
