Day 60--

Learning Target ImageWhat will I be able to do when I've finished this lesson? How will I  accomplish this task?  How will I show that I have done this? How well will I have to do this?
I will be able to understand how the French Revolution changed its course as new leaders appeared on the scene.I will watch a video and complete part of a reading assignment to learn about the different groups.  I will add notes to my assignment as I watch the video. This is a formative assessment and will help me with my summative assessments in this assessment cycle.
Yesterday we looked at a timeline of the French Revolution, focused on the Reign of Terror:
(Spielvogel 354-355)

Today, we'll continue looking at this important time in the French Revolution, with a bit more of the video (40:07 - 80:00)
(If you'd like to watch this video on your own, you'll need a login (Columbia Student) and password (bruins) to access it)

And finally, we'll take a look at a cartoon from the time (primary source) that helps us understand how the Reign of Terror was seen by outsiders.
(Spielvogel 356)

So what happened when the Reign of Terror finally came to an end? You'll learn about that as you continue your homework assignment.

HOMEWORK: Complete the final homework assignment from this Assessment Cycle:
Be sure to write a short summary for each of the subsections (blue headings) in the reading. Summaries can be 1 or 2 sentences long, but should include the most important information presented in the reading.
DUE TOMORROW at the start of class.
