Learning Target ImageWhat will I be able to do when I've finished this lesson? How will I  accomplish this task?  How will I show that I have done this? How well will I have to do this?
I will be able to explain how the Ottoman Empire grew from a small territory to a vast and powerful empire. I will collect information about important dates in the growth of the Ottoman Empire, looking for key events that helped it grow, then led to its decline.I will complete a timeline slideshow, using the textbook -- and other resources -- to show key events along the way. This is a formative assessment. I need to complete it carefully to provide material I will need later for my summative assessment.
