Day 59--

Learning Target ImageWhat will I be able to do when I've finished this lesson? How will I  accomplish this task?  How will I show that I have done this? How well will I have to do this?
I will be able to understand how the French Revolution changed its course as new leaders appeared on the scene.I will watch a video and complete part of a reading assignment to learn about the different groups.  I will add notes to my assignment as I watch the video. This is a formative assessment and will help me with my summative assessments in this assessment cycle.
FIRST-- A QUIZ over last night's and Friday night's homework assignment: Use your assignment and notes to answer the questions to the best of your ability.
After taking the quiz, you can check your results in your email.

THEN -- while others are finishing the quiz, turn your attention to the timeline on pages 354 & 355. Be prepared to answer the questions at the end of the timeline, using information there.

NEXT: We'll continue watching the video that tells the story of the French Revolution. Part III (40:07 - 80:00)
(If you'd like to watch this video on your own, you'll need a login (Columbia Student) and password (bruins) to access it)

HOMEWORK: Tonight's assignment is to start the next section of the text (Chapter 11, Section 3). While you read the first two segments (The Rise of Napoleon, 360-362; Napoleon's Domestic Policies, 362-363). As you read, summarize each of the subsections in a few short sentences. Try to capture the basic, most important information in each section. Use this Google Doc to create your summary outline.
