You had homework last night (Chapter 24.4: Cities and Metropolitan Areas (650-657) questions 2,3,5,6). If you have questions, let's talk about them. If you don't, and you did it electronically, please share it to the class DropBox. If you did it on paper, please hand it in.

Today we'll wrap up our work from yesterday, taking notes on the position of Governor and other members of a state's executive branch.
Open your copy of "Governor Questions" from yesterday and turn to page 636 to get ready for a slideshow where we will go through the material together.

When finished, put a link to your copy of the notes you took in the class DropBox

Now it's time to start collecting more information about the people who represent YOU at the state, county, and local level.
Open a document from Google Docs Templates called "Get to know your elected officials". Using the links there, and, if you wish, a partner, find the names and term of many of the people who represent you.

Your handout shows a homework assignment due tomorrow, but we're going to hold off a day so we can wrap up these assignments so we don't fall too far behind.
