March 7

Today we wrap up our investigation of SUPER TUESDAY.

Get out and review your chart from yesterday. And get ready to add to it using the materials at the New York Times.

Use the link to the Primary Map to see how each state turned out yesterday.
Use the drop-down links under the title Primaries and go to either the Delegate Tracker page, or to the individual State Results page for your page to see what the results were.
Add the actual results (including delegate totals) to your chart.
  • If you're working on a paper copy, add a column to show how the delegates in your state were actually won.
  • If you're working on a Chromebook,
    • Click in the column marked "2012 Predictions"
    • Then move your cursor to the menu at the top of the screen to the menubar title called Table;
    • Use the drop-down menu to select "Insert column right"
    • Title the column "Actual delegates", then add your information in the proper cell.
When finished, you should have a completed chart for your assigned state, and lots of information for many other states. We'll take some time to go over all the information so you can have a complete chart.

Finished? Good. Time to start tonight's
HOMEWORK: READ Chapter 4, Section 2 (80-86) and answer questions 2, 3 & 7.
