Begin with a quiz over the President. No notes, books, or help from anyone else is allowed for this one, but the questions should look very familiar.

After finishing the quiz, take some time to view this slideshow that explains the day to day process of a national convention, something you read about in last night's homework. Take some notes from the slideshow and add them to last night's assignment before handing it in. (Take notes on anything you come across that seems interesting or unusual or that brings questions to your mind. Be sure to follow the links at the end to learn a little bit more).

After handing in your homework assignment, you may want to start in on the last homework of the unit (due Monday) OR start working on your essay for the unit. It's not due until next Friday, but you've come across most of the issues and topics that you might choose from, so maybe now is a good time to start looking for ideas and examples.

HOMEWORK: The Election (13.6), pages 340-347, and questions 2,3,4,6
