Day 35--

Learning Target ImageWhat will I be able to do when I've finished this lesson? How will I  accomplish this task?  How will I show that I have done this? How well will I have to do this?
I will be able explain differences between civil and criminal cases in law. I will watch a movie about a trial where the guarantees in the 6th Amendment were applied to a civil case.I will take notes about the movie and discuss how the Supreme Court made its decisionThis is a formative assessment. I need to complete it carefully to provide material I will need later for my summative assessment.

Any questions about last night's assignment? If so, let's talk about it. If not, we'll move on to watch a movie called

Edmonson v. Leesville

As you watch the film, pay attention to all the ways the Constitution and its Amendments play a role in how this case was decided. Complete the handout with notes as you watch to help you discuss it later.
