Tomorrow is your Open Note Unit Test
To prepare, you should:
Gather, organize, and review your notes & assignments. You'll be able to use them, but it's important to know what you have and where the information is in order to make efficient use of the time you have.
Read through the main ideas of the unit by using the end of chapter resources:
Chapters-in-Brief
  • Chapter 1 (21)
  • Chapter 2 (51) Sections 4 & 5, only
  • Chapter 3 (69)
  • Chapter 4 (93)
Review key vocabulary terms from the unit handout:
anarchy           bicameral          commerce           compromise            confederation          democracy            dictatorship            federal
government      inherent            public policies      ratify                    republic                   sovereignty           state                    unicameral
and from the text's Chapter Reviews (Matching, True/False, & Word Relationships) on pages 22, 52, 70, & 94

In-class (and homework, if you need it) we'll be working on the final section of the unit, dealing with Interstate Relations (88-91)
Open a copy of a Google Document, use File > Make a Copy.... to save a copy for yourself, then use the text to complete the form. Each section ends with a link to a web page where you can learn more about the concept you've been reading about. These are not required, but can help you understand the concepts you've been reading about.

You'll be able to use this assignment on tomorrow's test -- along with all your other assignments -- so do your best on it.
