How does the State of Washington compare to other states in its requirements for governor?
Collect information about the role of a state's governor in a state's official actions and policies.This is a formative assessment; I need to understand the information so I can work with it later to show how well I understand even bigger concepts.

Today we continue our look at the state's chief executive officer, the governor, with a review of last night's assignment with a slide show that covers much of the basic information. You may open a read-only copy, then make a copy for yourself that you can use to take notes. If you choose to do this, open your copy and take notes in the space below each slide, but follow along with the class as we go through the information. 

Tonight's homework takes us into the next levels of government at the state level: The counties and towns.
