Last night's homework was The Courts and Their Judges (25.4) pages 676-681. Use your assignment from last night to complete your assigned slide in the class presentation that you can find here

Carefully include your information to answer the questions
WHERE does your type of courts exist? 
WHO typically appears in them? 
WHAT is their main purpose? 

Be sure to include your name(s) on your slide. 

When you finish with your slide, move on to the following short assignment while your classmates are finishing up:

and find the answers to the following questions:
  1. What kinds of criminal charges can be heard by district courts (such as the one in White Salmon)? 
  2. What kinds of civil cases can be heard by district courts? 
  3. What options do you have if you receive an infraction (such as a speeding ticket) in district courts?
  4. What are the limits and rules regarding the types of cases that can be heard in a small claims court?
Be ready to talk about them when done
